我院全面贯彻广州医学院第九次党代会精神，大力加强对外合作，积极开展对外交流，不断提高学院国际化水平，自2005年以来先后与美国加州大学、美国西北理工大学、英国皇家全科医学院、美国哥伦比亚大学、美国旧金山州立大学、法国西布列塔尼大学等高等院校或研究部门开展学术交流活动，建立了良好的合作关系；接待国外学者50余批、80多人次到所讲学和交流；与国外和香港有名的神经科学中心或学科（如美国加州大学神经科学与老年研究所、印地安那州大学医学院、田纳西州孟菲斯神经科学中心、英国伦敦大学医学院、香港大学、香港中文大学、香港科技大学等）建立了长期的学术交往与合作关系, 增强信息交流, 建立人才培训渠道。
    GMC has successively communicated in terms of academic affairs with Columbia University, U.K. Royal College of General Practitioners, San Francisco State University and Université de Bretagne Occidentale, etc. These dozens of years have seen that over 50 groups of overseas scholars, who totaled over 80 person-times, have been invited to Guangzhou Medical College for the purpose of academic communication. And a long-term academic communication and cooperation between Guangzhou Medical College and foreign as well as Hongkong famous neuroscience research centers, for instance Institute of Neurosciences and Gereology of California University, School of Medicines of Indiana University, Neuroscience Center of University of Memphis in Tennessee, School of Medicines of London University, Hongkong University, Hongkong Chinese University and Hongkong University of Science and Technology, etc., is bridged.

		2005年8月30日，我院与英国皇家全科医学院建立合作交流关系 In August, 2005, GMC and U.K. Royal College of General Practitioners both expressed a good will to communicate as well as cooperate with each other frequently and reach an agreement on the construction of general practitioners, the training of medical talents, academic communication and teaching.
		2006年4月12日，加拿大汤姆逊河大学卫生科学学院院长Larris Prins和国际部主任Bai Hua来我院洽谈双方合作培养双学位学生事宜 On April 12, 2006, Mr. Larris Prins, the dean of School of Sanitation of the Canadian Tomsonriver University, and Mr. Bai Hua, the director of the international department, came to Guangzhou Medical College to discuss how we should cooperate with each other to cultivate students with double degrees.
		加拿大布拉德福德大学国际学术合作顾问来访 University of Bradford, Canada, paid a visit to GMC.
		2006年6月26日，法国驻广州总领事卜来世参观我院 On June 26, 2006, Daniel Blaize, the consul general of French Consulate Guangzhou, and Carsten Thoegersen, the science consul of the department of science, French Consulate Guangzhou, paid a visit to Guangzhou Medical College.
		2006年6月，欢送法国总领事科技处科技领事范霖 In June 2006, Carsten Thoegersen, the science consul of the department of science, French Consulate Guangzhou, paid a visit to GMC.
		2006年12月4日，我院与法国西布列塔尼大学签定校际合作协议 On December 4, 2006, Guangzhou Medical College signed an agreement with Université de Bretagne Occidentale for future cooperation.
		2006年11月，广州电视台英语频道Guangzhou Agenda采访院党委、院长、外事办公室主任魏东海 In November, 2006, Guangzhou Agenda of Guangzhou TV English channel covered Prof. Wei Dong-hai, Director of President's Office and Foreign Affairs Office.
		2007年4月18日，加拿大苏特大学访问我校 On April 18, 2007, the delegation headed by the president of Sault College paid a visit to GMC.
